The Catholic Spirituality Network (CSN) is one of the denominational member groups of the Retreat Association. The Network began in 1967 and was formerly known as the National Retreat Movement (NRM) and latterly the Catholic Network for Retreats and Spirituality (CNRS).
It exists to promote the awareness of retreats and to help people develop their own spiritual life within the Catholic Community of England, Wales and Scotland.
The 2016 Conference was held at the Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire
over the weekend of 26-
Our main speaker was Karen Kilby, Professor of Catholic Theology at Durham University. Part of Karen’s role is to bring theology out of the University and into the wider church. She sensitively explored the spirituality and theology of Love and Suffering, and welcomed questions to enable reflection on our own experience. Further exploration of the theme took place in workshops facilitated by CSN members.
