Catholic Spirituality Network (CSN)

Welcome to the Catholic Spirituality Network

The Catholic Spirituality Network (CSN) is one of the denominational member groups of the Retreat Association. The Network began in 1967 and was formerly known as the National Retreat Movement (NRM) and latterly the Catholic Network for Retreats and Spirituality (CNRS).

It exists to promote the awareness of retreats and to help people develop their own spiritual life within the Catholic Community.

Conference 2018

Our 2018 Conference was a Day Conference, held on Saturday 28 April at St Aloysius R C Centre in North London.

The Conference was entitled In a Year’s Turning, Four Seasons of Spiritual Growth.

We were led by Christopher Chapman, who explored the four seasons of spiritual growth:

  • Becoming rooted and grounded in God
  • Emerging into being in response to God’s invitation
  • Struggling towards abundance through resistance
  • Bearing fruit and being willing to fall

Chris also invited us to consider the part that is played by gardeners, whether human or divine.
